Llangoed ward is situated at the eastern tip of Anglesey and includes the village of Penmon. Penmon is approximately 3 miles east of Beaumaris and is known for its beach which is classed as area of outstanding natural beauty, it’s history and its views across the Menai Straits towards the Snowdonia mountain range. An extremely rural are, access to private transport is advantageous, although the local busses do run through the village.

Most general amenities can be found at nearby Llangoed or  Beaumaris. Most properties in this area re owner occupied.

Llangoed is a small village on the east of Anglesey approximately 3 miles from Beaumaris. The village has a bilingual primary school, a shop and post office and a public house. Further amenities can be found in Beaumaris, otherwise Menai Bridge is approximately 6.5 miles away allowing easy access to the mailand. The local buses run through the village  however access to private transport is advantageous due to the rural setting.
