Situated on the north coast of Anglesey, Amlwch is a small town which is split into two wards, Amlwch Port and Amlwch with a combined population of approximately 3000. The town is steeped in history and was once the home of the world’s most productive copper mine at Mynydd Parys which today is a popular tourist attraction. The town benefits from a range of shops and amenities including a leisure centre, bilingual primary school and a secondary school with good transport links also by way of a regular bus service.
